• Comments were addressed and edits were suggested. CSW will finalize the edits and send a draft next week.

Grant proposal:

• CVE capstone: Faculty advisosrs meet with the students, provide constant mentoring to the students. There are also engineers professional advisors that meet with the students 2 or 3 times during the semester and moderate the designs to reflect reality. At the end they also judge the presentations and the products and choose a winning team. 
• Computation is an important component, the students can use any tool that they want.

Discussion about the rubric to measure computational thinking in the capstone courses (before and after the curricular changes)

• What is a good/appropriatte metric? The rubric has to account for the implicit cultural change/aspects (don't want to set ourselves for failure)
• In terms of time there will be  a mistmactch (3 yr project vs 4 yr curriculum)
• What is a reasonable flow of students through the courses?
