- Sampling:
- We had a mistmatch in terms of representation of our sample and the national numbers.
-CIV and ChE overrepresented and ME underrepresented.
-Techsmith pulled out
-Mark did the comparisons using CHE, ME, CV, EE (largest) run ANOVA
-Weighted based on sample size and the averages from the regional and national distributions for the disciplines.

4) DC trip update
- Met with program officer Harriet Taylor. talked mostly about the CPATH web-site. she liked the direction that we were going
- Proposal submission end of April
- Not sure how long the awarding will take. Motivated to do it fast (Nov probably)
5) Grant proposal
- For the proposal is important to complete the mapping of the skills set-
that we identified from our employer interviews and employee survey-to the computing principles (P. Dennings)
- Claudia will create a WIKI page with a table and the necessary links for EGR and LCC faculty to help with the 'mapping'
- Claudia will create a proposal framework.
- It is important to have a piece in change management for the
proposal. the solicitation asks for: - Community collaboration,
sustainability of curricular reform, continued collaboration with
industry.
- What are the issues from the industry perspective. Related to the
Cindee's piece ion how to develop a CPACE eng talent development
network. What will industry see in terms of "hollistically skilled Eng".
How to use the network as a resource.
- Complement NSF funding with parallel funding sources. For the sustainability issue we need muiltiple sources of funding.
- We need a Project Summary to get letters of support
