The following are potential questions to guide the discussion about the summary of results on the employer interviews conducted to date presented to the AB members during the October 30 meeting.

-        How does the current state data reflect your (or your colleagues/peers) most commonly held notions and beliefs?

-        Is there anything that surprised you?

-        Are there major gaps in this specific subject?

-        In your group, discuss these and identify the top three items

Section 2 Computational Aspects

-        Does the current state data reflect your (or your colleagues/peers) most commonly held notions and beliefs?

-        Is there anything that surprised you?

-        Are there major gaps in this specific subject?

-        In your group, discuss these and identify the top three items

-        Discuss what should be taught in the undergraduate curriculum, what do you expect entry level staff to have learned during internships or projects during school, and how much to you expect staff to learn via on the job training? 

Section 3: Future of Engineering

-        Does the current state data reflect your (or your colleagues/peers) most commonly held notions and beliefs?

-        In your group, think about an engineering position that currently exists in one of your companies that didn't exist five years ago, or if there is not a new position, a position that has changed radically in just the last five years.  What is the position is and how has it changed? How does this change impact the computational skill needs?

-        Is there any critical data/information missing in what has been learned from the interviews thus far?

-        If so, how should these information gaps be addressed?
